Last Christmas, I had the most amazing vacation. It was a much needed break after a long and stressful year. I decided to go on a trip to visit my family in Florida, who I hadn't seen in a while.
I left on the 23rd of December, just in time to catch the holiday spirit. The flight was long, but I was excited to finally be able to relax and spend time with my loved ones. When I arrived, my family greeted me with open arms and we spent the evening catching up and cooking dinner together.
The next morning, we woke up early to open presents. My siblings and I all sat in a circle, taking turns opening our gifts. It was so nice to see their faces light up as they unwrapped each present. After presents, we all went to church to celebrate the holiday.
The rest of the week was filled with fun activities and good food. We went to the beach, swam in the pool, and played board games together. My favorite part of the trip was when my entire family went out on a boat and spent the day fishing. It was so peaceful and calming being out on the water, surrounded by the beauty of nature.
As the week came to an end, I was sad to leave my family, but grateful for the memories we had made. I returned home feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the new year. Overall, my Christmas vacation was exactly what I needed to recharge and spend quality time with the people I love most.
