Happy Gilmore is a classic sports comedy film released in 1996. The movie stars Adam Sandler as the titular character, Happy Gilmore, a wannabe hockey player with a hot temper and a powerful golf swing.
The movie follows Happy's journey as he tries to save his grandmother's house by entering a golf tournament and competing against some of the best golfers in the world. Along the way, he meets a host of interesting characters, including his love interest, a teaching pro named Virginia, and his main rival, Shooter McGavin.

This directly relates to Happy, because although Happy is a naturally aggressive person, Happy is out golfing in the summer heat for most of the entire movie. Chubbs urges Happy to enter a local tournament where the winner will earn an automatic spot on the Happy wins the local tournament and a spot on the tour, quickly becoming a fan favorite thanks to his long drives and unorthodox antics, such as asking the crowd to cheer during his swing instead of staying quiet. It suggests the reviews here aren't a fair representation. He goes on the tour, where the defending champion, Shooter McGavin The Happy Gilmore character is strange. For myself I am a huge Sandler fan but don't actually consider this one of his best although still very enjoyable. He is soon recognized by an old professional who tries to get Happy to let him coach him because he sees great potential in him, but Happy refuses every time he is asked until the old professional mentions money. Halfway through the movie, I didn't know what I wanted more: laughs, or mustard.
Taunted by a spectator and unable to get the ball in the hole, Gilmore explodes when Barker complains about his game and the two of them start punching each other out in between obscenities. Life seems to hold no future for him. His best friends include a physically challenged ex-pro golfer, a homeless man, an amiable public relations woman, and his sweet grandmother. The funniest sequence finds Happy paired in a celebrity tournament with game-show host Bob Barker, who turns out, hilariously, to be more than a match for Happy, physically and linguistically.
