"Greasy Lake" by T.C. Boyle is a short story that tells the tale of three young men who have a wild and reckless night out at a place called Greasy Lake. Set in the 1960s, the story follows the narrator and his two friends as they seek out adventure and try to prove their toughness to each other.
The story begins with the narrator and his friends, Digby and Jeff, setting out to have a good time at a local party.
