Peeta begs Katniss not to leave him and risk her life trying to save him. However, the Capitol seems very much like the centre of a busy city, like London, with stylists and televisions and posh hotel suites. The Hunger Games is an annual lottery in which one boy and one girl aged 12—18 from each of the twelve districts are selected to compete in a live televised battle to the death.

The whole country is forced to watch the games on television. I love to read and travel and over time What's Hot? Whether you're travelling across the world or through the pages of your book, I've got you covered. Evidently, the Capitol denies to provide information from one district to another, simply to keep them isolated from another. However, this hits a nerve with Gale watching back home who is clearly smitten with Katniss. They usually spend their days partying and eating so much, they produced a drink which helps them throw up what they ate so they could eat more. On their way back home, Katniss and Gale stops at the Hobs, the black market.
Katniss and Peeta live in District 12. This is one of the most sophisticated and engaging novels I have ever read and I am sure that it will appeal to people of all ages, not just teenagers. It was published in 2008 and has sold millions of copies around the world. Katniss and Peeta sprint through the forest as two more of the dogs begin to pursue them. In the novel, Katniss has always been a natural leader and hunter, but it isn't until The Hunger Games when it changes Katniss both emotionally and physically, the death or an ally makes her rebellious, and she develops a love feeling towards Peeta.
The Capital is seen as a great city with great technology and extraordinary fashion. Her father worked in the mine but he died in an accident and now she has to provide food for her family. This novel is about Katniss Everdeen, a 16 year old girl and tribute for The Hunger Games, who is obligated to fight to the death with twenty-three others. I would recommend this book to most people. There is even the suggestion of a love triangle between her and two other characters. While exploring the next day, Katniss gets too close to the outer regions of the arena. Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives alone with her mother and younger sister, regards it as a death sentence when she is forced to represent her district in the Games.

The Hunger Games is also now a very successful film. Peeta receives an 8 while Katniss scores an 11, the highest of all the tributes. Suzanne says that the two things started to merge together in her mind and the idea for The Hunger Games came to her. In all though, I really did think that this was a very good book and I would suggest it to anyone who was considering reading it.
